Annual Harvington Pilgrimage
We arrived at the Annual Pilgrimage to the Shrine of the English Martyrs at Harvington Hall in Beautiful sunshine where you could either sit and enjoy the peaceful gardens to eat lunch or have a guided tour around the Hall.
The Tour Guide showing us around made the tour very interesting with his knowledge regarding the Hall, and in total, showed us seven Priest Hides. His stories about St Nicholas Owen and St John Wall along with other English Martyrs were very moving.
We all gathered outside the peaceful gardens at 3.00pm for the Annual Pilgrimage Mass which was Celebrated by Rt Rev. David McGough together with several priests from other parishes and also other dignitaries. It certainly was a spectacular sight in the afternoon sunshine and made a wonderful ending to our day.
Thank you Fr David and Angela Wyre wor organising the Pilgrimage
